Tick My Box is built by an independent UK developer, and privacy was designed in from the start rather than added on.
Nobody can browse your answers
Your answers are only used to work out compatibility. Someone you've matched with sees only the boxes you both ticked the same way, never where you differ and never boxes you mark private.
Intimate and Kinky are opt-in
These answers are only saved after you give separate, explicit consent. Withdraw it at any time and those answers are deleted straight away.
Only compared with people who've opted in
Your Intimate and Kinky answers are never used to match you with someone who hasn't consented to share theirs.
Approximate location only
The app never asks for your precise location. Distances are based on a rough, town-level position.
Location data removed from photos
Hidden location data is stripped from photos when you upload them.
Free, with no adverts or tracking
It costs nothing to use, there are no adverts, and there are no analytics or advertising trackers following you around.
Block, report or leave at any time
Block or report anyone who makes you uncomfortable. Delete your account from Settings whenever you like, and your data is deleted as the privacy policy explains.
Others only ever see a rough distance.
